In auto selection mode, the air conditioner maintains the temperature within the limits you specify. If it gets colder, heating turns on, if it gets warmer, cooling turns on.
The heating mode is suitable for cool seasons. Keep in mind that in this mode the external unit may freeze, so operation will be paused periodically (no more than 10 minutes) to defrost the external unit. In addition, the fan may not start immediately after pressing a button on the remote control. This is how protection against cold air blowing works - first the heat exchanger warms up, and only then the fan turns on.
In cooling mode, the air conditioner cools and dehumidifies the air. The temperature is maintained at the level you specify.
In dehumidification mode, the electronics work in such a way as to remove moisture from the air while minimally affecting the room temperature.
In ventilation mode, air circulation throughout the room is maintained.

Additional modes and settings
For more efficient cooling and heating of the room, you can use the TURBO mode of the fan.
For night work there is a Sleep mode. The air conditioner is quieter there.
Econocool mode is provided to save energy. In this mode, the air conditioner consumes less energy.
Automatic restart. If the air conditioner was operating in any mode and there was a power outage, then after power appears in the network, operation will automatically continue in the same mode.
Timer - to start and stop the air conditioner according to a schedule, it is possible to configure the start and shutdown at a certain time.

Useful tips
Do not overcool the room. This leads to excessive energy consumption and can be harmful to health.
Close blinds and curtains indoors to prevent sunlight from heating things up.
A large number of people and running heating devices can also complicate the operation of the air conditioner.
You need to monitor the position of the vertical flap. When heating it should be vertical, when cooling it should be horizontal.

If you think there is a problem
The air conditioner doesn't work. Check if the plug is connected to the outlet. Is there power on the network? Has the air conditioner been turned off by the shutdown timer?
The air conditioner cannot be turned on 3 minutes after it is turned off. This is protection against frequent launches. Wait 3 minutes and try again.
During drying, the indoor fan turns off. While operating in this mode, the electronics ensure that minimal air cooling occurs when the room is dehumidified. Also, this is necessary to remove condensate from the core.
During operation in heating mode, the operation of the indoor unit stops (maximum 10 minutes). This is necessary to defrost the external unit, which is covered with ice in this mode.
When the heating mode starts, the indoor unit does not start working immediately. First, the heat exchanger warms up, and then the fan turns on - this protects you from being blown with cold air.
After power appeared in the electrical network, the air conditioner began to work, although no one controlled it from the remote control. If the air conditioner was operating in any mode before the power failure, then after power appears it will automatically resume operation in the same mode.
Water is leaking from the outdoor unit. During cooling and heating, the air conditioner contains elements that are colder than the surrounding environment. Condensation may form on them. If ice appears on the outdoor unit while heating the room, water will appear during defrosting.
White smoke is coming from the outdoor unit. During heating, the air conditioner releases cold air outside, around which fog can form.
The image on the remote control has become worse, disappeared, and the remote control does not work. Check the presence and correct installation of batteries. Replace them if necessary.
The room cannot be heated/cooled properly. This may be due to a number of reasons. Check whether the operating mode and fan power are selected correctly. Are the windows and doors in the room closed, are there any working heating devices. If there are many people in the room, the cooling work will be slower. Is there dirt on the air filters?
The air coming out of the air conditioner has a strange smell. Are the air filters clean? Is there any contamination inside the air cavity? Perhaps the smell is drawn in from outside, for example, from a carpet or wall. This is especially possible if condensation gets on them and mold grows.
A crackling sound is heard when the air conditioner operates. Fluctuations in temperature cause the plastic to change size and cause cracking sounds.
A splashing and gurgling sound is heard. This is possible due to the movement of refrigerant and condensate. If the air conditioner is turned off and there are sounds, then it is possible that this is due to the operation of the exhaust ventilation - air will enter the room through a hose to remove condensate.

When the air conditioner will not be used for a long time
If you plan to not use the air conditioner for a while, it is recommended that you prepare it for this.
Turn it on in heating mode. This will dry out the indoor unit and stop the growth of fungi and bacteria.
Disconnect the plug from the outlet.
Remove batteries from the remote control.
For use after a long period without use you must:
make sure there are no obstacles to air movement around both units;
install batteries in the remote control;
connect the plug to a socket of the appropriate rating;
check for grounding;

Installation location and electrical work

The device should not be installed in places where there is a lot of machine oil, a salty, humid climate, or where hydrogen sulfide or flammable gases are present in the atmosphere.
