What to make from flower mesh. Making decorative flowers from fabric. Corrugated paper

Lyubov Kudinova

Dear colleagues! There is very little time left until spring arrives. By the beginning of spring, and its beginning also coincides with the holiday of March 8, we try to decorate our group flowers, while showing their creativity, imagination, and patience. I suggest you master– class for the production of volumetric flowers from waste material - packaging mesh for flowers.

For work we need: packaging mesh in different colors, sticks for balls, green corrugated paper colors, scissors, stapler, some thin wire, glue stick, tape.

Let's take it mesh small size and begin to fold the middle flower, secure with a stapler.

Here's what I got.

Insert the center and form petals flower.

Fasten with wire flower to the top of the stick, to the latch. From green mesh We make a leaf and tape it to a stick.

Now we cut out the sepals from corrugated paper and glue them to the finished flower, thus closing the latch. We wrap a narrow strip around the entire stick.

Our the flower is ready.

I wish you to show creativity and imagination in making colors.

I really like to make beautiful things with my own hands. I saw flowers on the Internet and decided to repeat them. This is what came out of it... But all you need is nothing: a little beautiful fabric and any mesh. How about you? Yes, and a bowl of toothpicks.

And now MK.

To make these beautiful flowers you will need: scraps of beautiful fabric (preferably thick), gelatin, mesh (or nylon lace), corrugated paper, copper wire, PVA glue, scissors, good mood.

1. Dilute gelatin (1 teaspoon per 0.5 cup of water), prepare it traditionally, as indicated on the bag.
2. Apply this water to the shreds (pre-ironed). It is better to apply with a sponge or soft brush. Make sure that there is not too much gelatin, so that it only saturates the cloth, but does not drain from it.
3. Hang the shreds out to dry, just like drying regular laundry. Just don’t fold the piece in half - hang it by the edge. And make sure that the shreds do not stick together. The drying process in the sun took me 3 hours.
4. Cut out petal patterns of the required size from a sheet of paper. and when the rags are dry, we draw 5-7 petals on them according to the pattern. With a pencil. Diagonally:

5. Fold the finished petal in half lengthwise (right side inward) and cut off the outer edge, approximately 3-4 mm wide. We get, as it were, an outline of the petal and a smaller petal. We fold it in the same way and also cut off the edge. as a result of these manipulations, we get from one petal: one large edge, one middle edge and a whole small leaf:

6. Place the finished edges on the mesh (again, diagonally), glue them, and set them aside to dry:

7. While the petals are drying, we will make the stems. To do this you need:

Take corrugated paper to match or contrasting fabric. We cut an edge 0.5 cm wide from the corrugated paper. We cut the copper wire (in my case, I cut it from some cord I found on the farm) into pieces twice the length of the largest petal.
8. Carefully wrap the wires with strips of corrugated paper: secure the edges with glue. In total we need 15 or 21 stems (depending on whether there were 5 or 7 petals initially):

9. Cut out the petals on the mesh with scissors and glue the finished stem to each petal and leaf:

Yes, I almost forgot. In the photo there is a bundle of wires with beads - this is a blank for the core of the flower (stamen). They are made simply - the bead is attached to a wire. You can also make a thread core. Like a regular brush, but made of thread and also secured with wire.
10. Assembling the first whisk. Around the core we collect the middle petals into a bunch. We secure the structure with thread:

11. Then we collect the second corolla from large petals. We also secure it with thread. And lastly we connect the leaves:

Please note that if we select the petals evenly (beginning to beginning), then the leaves are fixed at different heights.
12. We wrap the flower stem (all this is a lot of wires) with corrugated paper:

We bend the petals, give them a curved shape, and straighten the leaves.

Poinsettia is considered a symbol of Christmas in many countries. After all, it blooms just in time for the Christmas holidays and delights with a variety of colors. It’s not for nothing that they also call her the Christmas star and people try to bring her into their home. It’s easy to make a poinsettia with your own hands from different materials.

How to make a poinsettia with your own hands

Artificial poinsettia flowers are used as New Year's decorations. They decorate gifts, Christmas trees, and make wreaths from them.

I offer several simple ways to create poinsettias with your own hands.

Ribbon poinsettia

For New Year's decor, you can make a poinsettia from ribbons 5 cm wide - silk or satin. For a flower, cut out several types of petals. The minimum quantity is like mine:

  • 3 pieces - 5 cm long,
  • 5 pcs – 6 cm long,
  • 5 pcs – 7 cm long.

It is better to cut flower petals from segments diagonally.

Make 2 cuts along the edges of the poinsettia petals and melt them over the fire to form cloves.

Then make veins on each petal, heating the folds over the fire, like ordinary leaves.

Assembling poinsettias from ribbons

For the middle, you can make stamens from beads or use ready-made ones on wire.

  • Glue the first layer of three small petals onto the stamens.
  • First glue the remaining petals together, and then glue them onto the stamens in a checkerboard pattern.
  • Glue the wire onto the green leaves.
  • Then screw the leaves to the stem with wire and wrap the stem with tape.
  • From organza

Organza is an original and pliable material for making various decorative elements. It is the easiest to make flowers from. They turn out beautiful, unusual and original. In order to make a poinsettia from organza you will need several scraps, beads or buttons for fastening, a candle and scissors.

First you need to make patterns of different sizes from paper to cut out shapes. Then cut out blanks from organza and singe the edges of each of them over a burning candle, as written in this article.

Then fold the blanks together and stitch them with beads or a button to keep them together. You can decorate a New Year tree with these flowers.

    Corrugated paper

To make a poinsettia from corrugated paper, you will need 3 squares of paper in red and green colors, measuring 10x10 cm, golden ribbon or rain for tying.

  • Fold the cut out squares like an accordion diagonally, starting from the center of the sheet.
  • Tie the sheets of each color into a bundle.
  • Then put them together and tie them with a golden ribbon. Cut the ends of the tape and twist with scissors. They will serve as the center of the flower.
  • Gently straighten the petals and form a flower. You can also glue small beads as the center for the flower.

Corrugated paper poinsettia can be used for New Year's decor or to decorate a gift.

    Flowers from floral mesh

Mesh for wrapping bouquets is very rarely used to create decor. However, due to the variety of structure, type and color, it is becoming increasingly popular. Flowers made from floral mesh look original and creative. Depending on the size you choose, it can be a flower for decoration or an independent decoration.

In order to make a poinsettia from a floral mesh, you will need from 6 to 10 cut out squares, wire, Christmas balls or large beads.

Squares can be cut in the same or different sizes. Then stretch each square diagonally and roll it into a roll. The more squares you have, the more magnificent the flower will be, but don’t be too zealous.

Collect all the pieces and tie them tightly with wire in the middle. Also attach the balls with wire and straighten the flower petals.

Here you can play not only with size, but also with color or texture. The finished decoration can be attached to the door or wall as a wreath.

There are a lot of methods for making crafts from scrap materials.

I like to watch on various television programs how craftsmen make all sorts of things with their own hands. From there I got the information and the desire to do something in the style. With good imagination and available materials, you can make very interesting and unique things. The technique itself allows you to perform work using fabrics, paper, leather, buttons, flowers and much more.

Here, for example, a rather inconspicuous coffee can, sprigs of old artificial flowers and an ordinary fruit net were transformed into a magnificent golden vase with the help of imagination and gold paint. In my case it was a mesh. You can use any textured material.

We clean the jar from the paper label and put a mesh on it. By the way, you can do it without a net, but it’s more convenient to attach flowers to it. We paint the mesh jar with gold spray paint. However, the paint can be of any color. If it didn’t paint very well the first time, don’t worry.

We carefully fasten in random order, that is, as your imagination tells you, twigs with leaves and flowers. Beads can be attached to the center of each flower. Twigs and flowers can be secured to the mesh cells with thread or glue. I think that additional elements made from seashells will look very good.

After fixing all the additional elements, paint the resulting vase again on all sides and let it dry. I want to warn you – the vase is decorative. You will not put fresh flowers in it. However, you can put dried flowers or artificial flowers treated with the same paint. I hope that such a vase will decorate your interior. In the same way, you can make a glass bottle of an unusual shape in decoupage style.

In the kitchen, our man always has two eternal problems: where to put the bag of bags and what to do with the numerous “string bags” for vegetables. I'll show you a useful and easy way to recycle fruit nets. And at the same time, stock up on sponges for washing dishes for a long time.

Eating vegetables and fruits is good, tasty and simply necessary. But confidently accumulating mesh “string bags” in which useful things are packaged in supermarkets is somehow not very good. Seriously, are you actually planning on using them for anything? Although, as it turned out, even a rough “mesh” can be used usefully. For example, turn it into a dishwashing sponge that can easily handle even soot and traces of grease!

    You will need:
    1. Mesh packaging for vegetables and fruits (the more, the better);
    2. Scissors;
    3. Needle and strong thread;
    4. 5 minutes of free time
    Step 1

Cut all the meshes into approximately equal pieces. They do not necessarily have to be even and equal. But the brighter and more contrasting the colors, the more fun and prettier the final result. And from the largest “string bag”, cut off the top to make a rectangular bag.
    Step 2 and 3

Now place all the small pieces inside the mesh bag. If desired, you can additionally wrap them in another contrasting mesh. This way the sponge will work even better and look prettier. Now it’s a small matter: just sew the edges of the bag with thick thread.
    Step 4

An effective “scrub” sponge for your dishes is ready! But if you want variety, you can make another one – round in shape. To do this, simply push the edges of the rectangular version inward and secure with thread.
