We will introduce you to the mobile air conditioner BALU BPHS 09 H. Today Ballu is a large transnational company, but it comes from Taiwan. We will not open America if we say that a mobile air conditioner has one, but significant advantage over the window and split versions - it is the simplicity and speed of both the initial installation and movement between rooms and even apartments.
In a previous article, we already talked about installing such air conditioners using readily available materials. Now let's get acquainted with the air conditioner itself. Look at the technical specifications, but let’s add on our own - it’s really noisy, because you can’t put the compressor outside the window. A little heavy to carry (30 kg), but it rolls easily. It is slightly less efficient than its counterparts, but it cools a room 25-30 meters away 5-6 degrees below the street easily.
How is it built? To put it simply, there is a compressor, freon, fans and a fin cooler. Room air is sucked inside in two streams. One heats up, the other cools due to it. The cold one enters the room, and the hot one is thrown out into the street through a wide pipe.
At the back we see air filters that trap dust and require periodic washing. There is a very good ability not to accumulate condensation in the trays, but to evaporate it and throw the steam out into the street with hot air. However, at very high humidity, condensation may accumulate slightly. It is safely drained through special tubes.

One control system on top of the body.
The second one is on the remote control. It is much wider. So, we turned it on. Using the fashion button we can successively select modes - Room cooling, air dehumidification, just a fan and even room heating.
In cooling and heating modes, you can set the desired temperature.
Attention: if you do not press anything for 5-6 seconds, the display will begin to show the ambient room temperature, not the set one.
In all modes there are 3 fan power positions. And finally, the air ionization button. Apparently Chizhevsky's chandelier is inside. By the way, there is no such button on the remote control. But on the remote control you can turn on the Timer and the Sleep mode (SLEEP - sleep 8
). But here they are only indicator lights.

At the same time, almost all the adjustments and functions already known to us work in Smart mode, except of course Super. After all, this is a separate mode. Exit Smart using the Mode button (MODE - 2

For dessert we left the time buttons. Algorithm for setting the clock, i.e. The time of day here is truly Taiwanese. We hold the Lock button for a long time - no reaction. We let go and the clock blinked. Then we literally use arrows to catch the current time. It's not easy to do. Then we hold it again and record the new time.
There is a timer to turn on and a timer to turn off the air conditioner. You need to briefly press and release the button. It’s the same story with catching time. Disabling timers couldn't be easier. Pressed, released - the indicator went out. There is none of this in the instructions. One word - Taiwan.

I’ll tell you right away that the sequence is not at all difficult, but just requires a little patience. So, the summer heat has passed, and at the beginning of autumn the temperature in the apartment is optimally maintained. But every day it gets cooler, the central heating will be turned on unknown when, and the heater can’t cope. And then you remember that you have another device that can also operate on heat! Buttons on the air conditioner remote control
Any split system remote control has five main buttons:
- Power button;
- Mode switch button;
- Double temperature adjustment button;
- Shaft rotation speed adjustment button;
- Blind direction adjustment button.
But before we pick up the remote control, we first turn on the air conditioner (like any electrical appliance). Most often it is just a plug that needs to be plugged into an outlet. The air conditioner can also be powered through. In general, depending on the method of connecting the air conditioner, we turn on the machine or plug the plug into the socket. In this case, you should hear a beep from the indoor unit. If the block does not react at all, then read the article. After successful power supply, pick up the remote control and proceed!
How to turn the air conditioner on warm
I want to say right away that if you make a mistake somewhere, nothing bad will happen! You'll just have to wait and do it all over again.
- Turn on the air conditioner pressing the "power" button once(on/off).
We wait a few seconds until the blinds open and the fan of the indoor unit begins to rotate;
- Then press the mode switch button so many times until we switch to the sun icon or the inscription “heat”(meaning "warmth")
The air conditioner may then stop the fan or close the blinds (this will happen if the air conditioner was not already set to warm). There is nothing strange in his behavior! Simply after switching the mode, the algorithm of the air conditioner changes, and it redirects the movement of the refrigerant (you don’t have to delve into this now!). The temperature of the radiators and other processes that are not important for our article are monitored. The most important thing for this article is that need to wait 10 minutes and don’t press anything extra.
But there are several features that should not be forgotten when turning on the heating:
If you were freezing during the cold period when you did not yet have an air conditioner, then with its purchase you will immediately feel the difference.
