Legend of the lily:

They say that the Theban queen, the beautiful Alcmene, the mother of Hercules, fearing the revenge of the jealous Juno, in order to hide Hercules, who was born by her from Jupiter, placed him under a dense bush; but Minerva, who knew the divine origin of the baby, deliberately took Juno to this place and showed her the poor child abandoned by his mother. Juno really liked the healthy, charming little boy, and as the protector and patroness of all newborns, she agreed to let the thirsty little one suck on her milk. But the boy, instinctively sensing his enemy in her, bit her so hard that she, screaming in pain, roughly pushed him away. The milk splashed and, spilling across the sky, formed the Milky Way, and a few drops of it, falling to the ground, turned into lilies.

There is also a legend that under the lily was the cradle of Moses, but, of course, not under the white one, but under the yellow one, which usually grows among reeds and reeds.

The lily was also found in ancient Germanic mythology, and the thunder god Thor was always depicted holding a lightning bolt in his right hand and a scepter topped with a lily in his left. It was also used to decorate the foreheads of the ancient inhabitants of Pomerania during festivities in honor of the goddess of spring, and its fragrant corolla served in the German fairy-tale world as a magic wand for Oberon and the home of small fairy-tale creatures - elves.
According to these legends, each lily has its own elf, who is born with it and dies with it. The corollas of these flowers serve as bells for these tiny creatures, and by swinging them they call their pious brethren to prayer. These prayer meetings usually take place in the late evening hour, when everything in the gardens has calmed down and fallen into deep sleep. Then one of the elves runs to the flexible stem of the lily and begins to swing it. The lily bells ring and wake up the sweetly sleeping elves with their silvery ringing. Tiny creatures wake up, crawl out of their soft beds and silently and solemnly go to the corollas of lilies, which at the same time serve them as chapels. Here they bow their knees, fold their hands piously and thank the Creator in fervent prayer for the blessings bestowed upon them. Having prayed, they also silently rush back to their flower cradles and soon fall asleep again in a deep, carefree sleep...
A lot of legends about the lily can be found on the pages and this is just a small part, but I wanted to show that this flower is very beautiful and its legends too. Let's now make a little “legend-fairy tale” for ourselves.
Material:
Corrugated paper yellow and green
PVA glue
Simple pencil
Scissors
Wooden stick
Wire cutters
Wire
Markers

Template for work:

Progress:

We cut out two templates: No. 1 is a petal, No. 2 is a leaf.

Next No. 1 i.e. cut out a petal into three flowers from yellow corrugated paper, 18 pcs., No. 2 - a leaf from green corrugated paper, 6-8 pcs. (Attention, we cut out all the petals and leaves so that the strips of corrugated paper are along as in the photo)

Now you can use a felt-tip pen to color (as in the photo) the petals of the future flower.

We shape the petal by stretching its upper edges to the sides.

We prepare a 1 cm tape of yellow corrugated paper, 18 pieces of wire. 10 cm each and PVA glue.

The wire must be wrapped with corrugated paper tape.

We glue the wrapped wire onto each petal from the wrong side in the middle.

Let's give it shape.

Now you need to take 3 pieces of wire. 12 cm each and wrap it with yellow corrugated paper.

At the end of the wire we clamp the stamens (3-6 pieces) and wrap them with corrugated tape as in the photo.

Let's start assembling the flower. First, we wrap three petals onto a stick with stamens with thread.

We wrap three more petals around the flower.

We wrap the stick with green corrugated tape.

And so we have three flowers ready.

We take a long stick under the stem (mine is 35 cm, and since it is thin, I wound three pieces of thread.)

We give the leaves shape.

We wrap the flower around the stem with corrugated green tape, not forgetting to insert the leaves, alternating with the flowers.

DIY paper lilies

Living lilies are incredibly beautiful, but, alas, they are short-lived, and when decorating a celebration or a gift, you understand that it only takes a few hours, especially if the flowers are without water. But you can make artificial flowers that will look no less impressive and will delight you much longer. Try making paper lilies with your own hands.

Lilies made of colored paper

You don’t need any special skills or materials to work; this master class is quite simple.

Required materials and tools:

  1. Sheets of colored paper.
  2. Crepe paper.
  3. The wire is not thick.
  4. Scissors.
  5. Glue.
  6. Hole puncher.

Before starting work, you should make samples of flower parts. You can make these templates yourself or print out patterns from the Internet. You will need both petals and leaves. We cut out the leaves, of course, from green paper, and for the petals it would be nice to choose pinkish marbled paper.

To make the flower believable, you also need to make such details as the pistil, which we cut out of brown paper, and the stamens, yellow paper is suitable for them.

The finished petals need to be bent in half lengthwise. Twist the top a little using scissors. At the bottom of each petal we make small cuts with scissors. Lightly cross the resulting tails together and fix them in this position with glue. Using a hole punch, you need to make a hole in each petal.

We pass the wire with the stamens through the hole in the petals and form a flower cup. Be sure to secure with glue.

Now you need to design the stem. It requires a piece of green crepe paper up to two centimeters wide.

The edge of this paper tape is attached to the base of the flower cup, and the rest is wound in a spiral around the stem wire.

The leaves can be glued on after wrapping the entire stem with paper, or secured to the stem while wrapping. The leaves, just like the petals, need to be twisted a little with scissors.

This easy-to-make lily is well suited both for decorating a gift and for decorating various holidays and celebrations.

Artificial lilies made of corrugated paper

Flowers made from corrugated colored paper look very realistic. These lilies are a little more difficult to perform, but detailed step-by-step instructions are provided here, so this technique should not pose any particular difficulties.

For work you need to prepare the following materials:

  1. Corrugated paper in light green, green and white colors.
  2. Oil pastel in pink and light green colors.
  3. Dry pink pastel.
  4. Acrylic paint black.
  5. Semolina groats are orange.
  6. Lurex threads.
  7. Wire cut 30 cm.
  8. 18 pieces of wire (length 20 cm).
  9. 4 pieces of wire (15 cm).
  10. 27 pieces of wire (8 cm).

Step by step creation of a flower

Take a whole roll of corrugated paper and cut off an edge about one and a half centimeters wide.

First, let's make the pistil of the flower. We twist two pieces of eight-centimeter wire together. We wrap the resulting part in light green paper, twisting it diagonally and securing it with glue. We bend the tip so that a loop is formed.

From a piece of light green paper, 1.5 centimeters wide, we form a flagellum. Cut a piece two centimeters long from it. This piece of flagellum must be glued crosswise onto the loop of the pistil blank. Cover the base of the loop with paper.

Next, we proceed to making the stamens. To do this, cover five pieces of wire eight centimeters long in a spiral with strips of light green paper. One edge of the stamens must be bent at a right angle.

Grease each bent edge with glue and dip in orange semolina.

Looking at photos of fresh lily flowers, you can see stamens of yellow, orange, brown and even black, so the orange color of semolina is not important.

Attach the stamens around the pistil with glue and wrap with thread. After securing the thread, cover the joint with paper.

The next stage is creating the petals. According to the diagram, cut out six petals to form a flower cup. The length parameters are 8.5 centimeters and width – 3.5 centimeters. One side should be painted pink, and along the middle line light green. Lightly stretch each petal lengthwise.

Wrap six pieces of wire 20 centimeters long with one-third white paper and two-thirds green. These are blanks for the peduncle. Glue the petals with the unpainted side to the white edge of the pedicels.

We collect a cup of a flower. To do this, three petals are glued to the base of the center with the painted side inward. Three more are staggered between the first row. Everything is secured with lurex thread.

Bend the edge of each petal and apply dry pink pastel to them. Using black paint and a brush, put dots on the petals.

Wrap a 30cm long wire in green paper and attach a flower cup to it. Mask the attachment point with green paper and glue the leaves.

In this way, make three more flowers.

Making a flower is a somewhat labor-intensive process, but the result fully compensates for the effort expended. You will receive beautiful, life-like lilies that you can use to decorate your interior or give as a gift.

Master class on corrugated paper lilies

For work we need:

- corrugated floral paper white(for petals, pink (for stamens) and green (for stem) colors;

Floral ribbon (can be replaced with strips of green corrugated paper);

Thermal gun (can be replaced with PVA glue);

Thin wire 0.5 cm

Wooden skewer (30 cm long, can be replaced with thick wire);

Ruler;

Pencil;

Scissors;

Pliers (for cutting wire).

Stages work:

1. cut the wire. We will need 5 pieces of 8 cm for the stamens and 6 pieces of 12 cm for the petals.

2. From pink paper cut 5 strips 5 cm long and 1 cm wide. And stretch them completely.

3. We wind strips of pink paper onto a wire 8 cm long. We make a thick layer on top, forming the head of the stamen, and then lower it paper down the wire. in this way we form all 5 stamens

4. Using a heat gun, fix all 5 stamens on a skewer.

5. Then secure with floral tape or strip green paper(the strip is made from corrugated paper 1 cm wide and stretchable).

6. Create leaves.

cut from corrugated paper 6 rectangles 9.5 cm wide and 3 cm long. And cut them diagonally.

7. Glue the petals from the two halves of each white rectangle and 12 cm wire. Turn the halves over paper as shown in the photo and glue them together, laying a wire in the middle, not bringing it to the top 0.5 cm. In this way we glue all 6 petals.

8. We give the resulting blanks the shape of petals, rounding the upper corners

9. We “revive” each petal by bending it and giving it shape

10. We fix the petals to the skewer with stamens using a heat gun.

11. From green corrugated paper cut out a strip 1 cm wide and stretch it in the same way as for the stamens. Then we fix it on the petals, thereby masking the place where the petals are attached to the skewer. And then we lower our strip down, wrapping its stem and giving it color.

12. Ours Lily is ready!

Publications on the topic:

Good evening, dear colleagues, we present to your attention a master class “Floral Fantasy”. I'll tell you how easy and interesting it is from what's at hand.

In November we celebrate one of the main and wonderful holidays - equally important for all people - Mother's Day. It is customary to give gifts on holiday.

You will need: - multi-colored corrugated paper - scissors - thin wire - PVA glue - vase (ball of woolen thread) 1. Prepare.

Dear Colleagues! I present to your attention a master class on making wood from a sheet of Whatman paper and corrugated paper using double.

Poppies made from corrugated paper will be an excellent decorative element for any room or holiday. I offer a master class for educators and parents.

I present to your attention a master class on making a bow from corrugated paper on a rim. I used it as an extra.

Master class on making roses from corrugated paper Goal: mastering the technique of making roses from corrugated paper, developing imagination, and developing aesthetic taste. Objectives: Educational:.

Many of us have seen a photo of a paper lily and probably wanted to repeat making this wonderful flower with our own hands. Paper flowers can be made using different techniques and from materials of different densities.

Origami - what is it?

Japanese masters brought to us the most wonderful art of crafts - origami. In specialized stores for creativity, you can easily buy special paper that differs in its thickness (it is very thin). Thanks to its thinness, it can easily be folded into different shapes.

In order to fold a paper lily using the origami technique, you will also need a pencil and scissors.

Consistency is very important in this Japanese paper folding technique. A small master class will tell you how easy it is to make a paper lily with your own hands.

Take a sheet of paper - you will need two squares. Choose the size based on the size of the finished flower. Make initial folds along each diagonal of the sheets.

Thanks to the folds already made, you should end up with a workpiece that will look like a square. Next, make folds at the bottom that will look like triangles. Turn the workpieces to the other side. Repeat the folds. Straighten one of the triangles. Fold it inward.

All steps must be repeated so that they are the same as the first. Turn the workpiece over and straighten out the folds. Make folds at the bottom on both sides.

Unfold the resulting workpiece. Spread it out in the middle. Bend it down a little and try to make a new fold that looks like a triangle. All four folds must be identical. Slightly stretching in different directions, try to carefully straighten the workpiece. Be sure to tuck any fold that may appear in the middle part inside. All four folds should be tucked in the same way.

The lower parts of the resulting diamond must be folded into a triangle. All lower parts should be equally curved. Take a pencil or pen and carefully twist the resulting flower petals. Repeat the procedure with the second sheet of paper. Insert one flower that you got into another. Lily is ready!

To make an original paper lily, you can take paper of any color. The main rule is that the material should be thin enough for the flower to look elegant and beautiful, but strong enough so that the flower does not tear during the process of folding all the folds.

As you can see, such a seemingly tricky process of how to make a lily out of paper is not very complicated. Be confident, attentive to detail and consistent in all folding processes - and you will master origami.

Corrugated paper flowers

There are quite a lot of master classes on the Internet that show how to make origami. However, there is another type of paper that deserves attention - corrugated paper.

In order to make a lily from corrugated paper, you will need (besides paper, of course), small wire, semolina, paints, glue, and toothpicks.

In order to make a stamen, you need to cut a small piece of wire that needs to be bent in half. This should create a so-called loop.

You need to insert a small strip of paper into the loop. Wrap the resulting stamen. The tip of the resulting figure must be bent 90 degrees. Make about five stamens. Dip the edges of the stamens in glue, then in semolina. Set aside to dry.

To make a flower column, wrap a toothpick in corrugated paper. You need to cut out about six flower petals from paper. Using paints or a pink pencil, color the center of the petal. Twist them a little. You can use scissors for this. Slightly stretch the edges of the resulting blanks.

You can start assembling the flower itself. The first in line are the pistil and stamens. Next come rows of petals. Three petals in each row. Using orange paint, paint the tips of the stamens.

As you can see, the process of producing flowers from corrugated paper is much simpler than origami, which is common in Japan. The most important thing is attention to detail, to the process, patience and the desire to create beautiful things with your own hands.

Photo of paper lilies

- a great gift. After all, it is beautiful and tasty! Try, for example, giving such a bouquet to a teacher. Why not?

Today we offer you a master class on making lilies from chocolates and corrugated paper with your own hands. It is likely that many will appreciate such lilies much more than fresh flowers. The problem with lilies is their pungent smell. They are beautiful, but the aroma can cause a headache, from which even airing will not save you. But sweet edible lilies are safe in this regard. So feel free to give them to anyone!

To make lilies we will need:

  • candies in blue wrapper
  • green wire (or regular wire and green thread)
  • white corrugated paper
  • blue mesh fabric or any other decorative elements

How to make a lily?

We cut out the petals from corrugated paper (you can use stencils) and begin to carefully wrap the lower edge of the candy in them. Five petals for each will be enough.

Now we attach the wire. If you don't have green thread, just wrap the green thread tightly around the regular thread.
