Perhaps one of the most beautiful bars in the city, opened by Vitaly Bgantsev and Irina Golubeva. Finding “Voda” the first time is not easy; you will have to wander a little through the winding courtyards of Petrovka until you find the right door, without a sign, of course. Although the bar does not position itself as a speakeasy, you can still get into it only by calling in advance. The first floor resembles a bright alchemist's laboratory, while the second floor looks more like a relaxed English club. The bottles in the bar are devoid of branding and there is no bar card, but they prepare many signature cocktails, including the beloved rhubarb fizz.
Public
A small but main speakeasy bar in the city, hiding under the Iskra cafe on Pokrovka. A call before visiting is mandatory - crashing in with four people even during the week is not at all an option. There is no cocktail menu at Public; the drink is prepared after finding out the guest’s preferences. Overall an ideal option for the evening.
"Box"
The small bar under the Tekhnikum restaurant is ruled by bartender Evgeniy Shashin. The specialty of the bar is distillates, which are made from anything, and white Negroni. Almost all drinks in a bar are clear, and most often colorless, so the taste of the drink is usually unexpected. The cocktail menu includes a dozen signature cocktails, as well as strong alcohol. Food is not served as a matter of principle, but you can always eat in the restaurant on the floor above.
Molon Lave Bar
The just opened Greek bar of Samson Moisidis and Alexei Karolidis, owners of the restaurant of the same name on Bolshaya Gruzinskaya. The cocktail menu was divided into three sections: “Logos”, “Eros” and “Paphos”. There are three signature cocktails in each section, and the bar also serves classics and wine.
